Transition Bathwick?
I'm wondering about the possibility of a Transition Bathwick group, aligned to the Transition Bath organisation. As listeners to the Archers will know, Transition City groups are planning for the transition away from oil-dependent economies. Larkhall has a vibrant Transition group up and running already. Why not Bathwick?
Some kind of local micro-energy generation could bring neighbours together to take control of their energy needs in a sustainable way. Also, Paul Crossley, a member of this community, is leading a Transition Bath group looking at reducing the amount of rubbish we all produce, so we could perhaps work together locally on that, too.
The next Transition Bath meeting on food security. There's also a film series - although that might be a bit worthy and depressing... But both events are our side of town! Details in attached files.
