Social Event: A wine and cheese tasting – 22 October

A wine and cheese tasting at St. Mary’s Church Hall from 7:30 to 9:30 on Thursday Oct. 22nd. The evening will include a short talk from Godwin and Godwin who will supply and explain the wines for tasting. Also Graham Padfield of the Bath Soft cheese company based in Kelston will provide and talk about his locally produced cheese. There will be a chance to quaff more wine and a some very light refreshments will be provided. We also see this as an opportunity to meet new neighbours and re-acquaint yourselves with more long standing residents.

You will appreciate that this event includes some expense and we need an indication of the level of attendance. We require at least 30 people to attend. With this in mind we have decided this will be a ticketed event and we will be charging £5 per head. If you would like to come please can you fill in and return to tear off form on the printed newsletter and £5 for the event. If you are not a BHRA member we would appreciate it if you could also include your £5 annual membership fee. The pre-paid tickets will be handed out at the door, obviously you can also come and pay on the night. However if we have not reached the minimum numbers the event will have to be cancelled. In this case those who have paid will be refunded.
